Planning your route

A wide variety of information on leisure walks and public rights of way across Bedfordshire is available from www.letsgo.org.uk.

Central Bedfordshire Council has produced a series of Travel Choices maps containing a range of useful information including short-cuts, crossing points and places of interest that will be useful when planning your journey.

Maps are also available at most libraries and tourist information centres, and ordnance survey maps can be purchased at most bookshops for a more detailed insight.

They also feature contact information for local walking groups. The maps have been produced as part of Central Bedfordshire's Travel Choices programme which aims to reduce traffic congestion and car-dependency by providing information to enable people to walk, cycle and use public transport more often.
