Workplace Charging Scheme Grant

Electric cars have seen a surge in popularity in the UK over the last few years, and sales are likely to continue to rise as consumer confidence grows and the manufacturing industry prepares for the phase-out of petrol and diesel vehicles by 2040. The UK Government is encouraging businesses to make charging points available at workplaces by offering a grant through the Workplace Charging Scheme.

• The contribution is limited to the 75% of purchase and installation costs, up to a maximum of £350 for each socket, up to a maximum of 40 across all sites for each applicant.

• The Workplace Charging Scheme is available to any business, charity or public authority, with some conditions.
