Our lower and primary schools stepped up to our two-week Santa challenge by making over 50 active journeys to Lapland. Pupils covered 103.358 miles of walking, scooting and cycling trips to school.
The challenge, in partnership with sustainable transport charity Sustrans, aimed to decrease the number of cars used on the school run, with pupils learning about the towns, cities, cultures and Christmas traditions of the countries they virtually visited along the way.
